• Session / auth token: kept in your browser's local storage as gamermail_token so you stay signed in. Removed when you sign out. Expires after 7 days.
• Security cookies, used to protect forms against cross-site request forgery.
• Preference cookies: remember choices such as your dark-mode setting and which domains you have already dismissed.

Non-essential, only on public pages

On public pages (this website, the blog and our tools) we may use Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic, and Google AdSense to display advertising. These services may set their own cookies.

• Google Analytics: aggregate, anonymised usage statistics for public pages. We do not run analytics inside your mailbox.
• Google AdSense: may set cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalised advertising where you have consented. Google's own explanation is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

• Opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings.
• Opt out of many third-party ad cookies at aboutads.info/choices (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
